Landscape & Outdoor Lighting
Low-voltage uplighting, pathway, and patio lighting that brings the property to life after dark.
Lighting changes how a property feels the moment the sun goes down. Thoughtful outdoor lighting highlights architecture and trees, makes paths and steps safe, and lets patios and kitchens stay in use long into the evening.
We design lighting to create atmosphere — warm, layered, and deliberate — rather than simply making things bright.

The Work
Designing with light
A strong lighting design uses several techniques together: uplighting to reveal the structure of trees and facades, downlighting from trees or eaves to mimic moonlight, path lights to guide movement, and integrated step and wall lights for safety without glare. Fixture placement and beam angles are chosen so the light source itself stays discreet.
Most landscape lighting uses low-voltage systems, which run from a transformer and are safer and more flexible to install in the landscape. Timers, photocells, and smart controls allow the system to come on at dusk and adjust by zone.

Lighting Design
Layers of landscape lighting
Good lighting uses several gentle layers rather than a few bright fixtures — improving safety and atmosphere without glare.
North Georgia Considerations
Built for this land.
Many North Georgia properties are surrounded by mature hardwoods and wooded edges that become dramatic when uplit. Lighting can also help define the property against the deep darkness of rural and mountain settings.
Considerate design avoids light trespass onto neighbors and skyward glare, preserving the region's night skies.
Good to know: Low-voltage systems connect to a transformer plugged into or wired to a dedicated outdoor circuit. New circuits, line-voltage fixtures, and panel work are performed by a licensed electrician.
